A tropical twist on a classic, this vibrant margarita mixes tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and passion fruit purée. Served over ice in a glass rimmed with Tajín and garnished with a lime wedge, it’s tangy, sweet, and has just the right kick of spice.
1 citrus squeezer (Optional, if using fresh lime juice)
1 knife
1 cutting board
1 cocktail shaker (or jar with lid)
Ingredients
0.75ozpassion fruit purée
0.5ozagave nectar
0.75ozlime juice
0.5oztriple sec
1.5oztequila
ice
1lime wedge to rub the glass rim and for garnish
Tajín(feel free to substitute salt or sugar if you prefer)
Instructions
Slice a lime wedge and use it to rub the rim of your margarita glass. Then sprinkle Tajín over the rim of the glass. (Or you can dip the limed glass rim in a plate of salt or sugar.) Set aside the glass and lime wedge.

Pour the 0.75 oz passion fruit purée, 0.5 oz agave nectar, 0.75 oz lime juice, 0.5 oz triple sec, and 1.5 oz tequila into your cocktail shaker (or jar). Cover and shake for 10 seconds.

Add ice to the Tajín rimmed margarita glass and pour the shaker contents into the glass.
